on March 19th 2024, Marta Fridriksdottir took part in the world premiere of "Die Leute auf Borg" where she sang the role of Alma. Die Leute auf Borg is a modern 12 tonal opera by Helmut Neumann and the premiere took place in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
The story of the opera is based on an Icelandic book by Gunnar Gunnarsson, telling the story of people's life around the year 1900 in the countryside of Iceland.
